The Patrol Division is the backbone of the police department and consists of 22 assigned officers. The Patrol Division is made up of four squads working 12 hour shifts. Each squad is supervised by a sergeant and there is a lieutenant in charge of the entire Patrol Division.
The Patrol Division is responsible for answering all calls for service including:
- Domestic Violence Disputes
- Neighborhood Disputes
- Juvenile Problems
- Suspicious Vehicles / Persons
- Crime in Progress Calls
- Residential / Commercial Alarms
- Motor Vehicle Accidents
- First Aid / Fire Calls
- Animal Complaints
- Theft / Burglary Complaints
- All Community Policing Issues
