The Clinton Township Police Department is pleased to announce the implementation of the Body Worn Camera Program for our officers. Maintaining the confidence of the community we serve is essential to effective and efficient delivery of policing services. Our continuing effort to promote transparency and accountability of law enforcement interactions with the public will be elevated through the use of this technology. The cameras are designed to memorialize police/citizen interactions from a first-person perspective, capturing both video and audio. The cameras are utilized in accordance with Directive 2021-5, issued by the New Jersey Attorney General and the provisions of P.L. 2020, c. 128 & 129.
